Sheffield Greens have been asked to support the new pressure group, PAM. They write
"We are a group of parents who have children at Wisewood primary school, and we are opposed to the proposal for Wisewood comprehensive and Myres Grove schools. We have formed an action group called P.A.M. (Parents Against Merger) and are calling for your help.
We read with interest a letter in The Star from Steve Barnard (Sheffield Green Party) and thought it may be beneficial for yourselves to attend one of the many public consultation meetings regarding the proposal.
The dates for these meetings are as follows:
FEEDER SCHOOLS.
Malin Bridge primary 28th Nov. 3pm and 29th 6pm.
Marcliffe primary 5th Dec 6pm and 8th Dec. 10.30 am.
Shooters Grove primary. 12th Dec 3.30 pm and 13th Dec 6pm.
Rivelin primary 9th Jan 9.30, 10th Jan 6pm.
Walkley primary 15th Jan 9.30 and 24 Jan 6pm.
SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Wisewood School and community sports college. 21st Nov 7pm. 11th Jan
10am, and 17th Jan 6pm.
Myers Grove School 28th Nov 6pm. 12th Jan 2pm, 23 Jan 6pm.
We would be grateful if you could advise us on how we could possibly stop this proposal as we feel that taking Wisewood School out of the community it unbeneficial to the children who would be attending this school in the future.
