Transporting the Greens beyond the May Elections
Rob
Murphy is no ordinary hero in the Sheffield Greens, and he certainly
knows a thing or two about transport and moving things forward. For
several years he has been our key activist in transport issues, and
he's hot on the wheels behind Cllr's Bernard
Little and Jillian
Creasy. Keen to take the third seat in Sheffield's Central ward,
this would make Sheffield's first all Green ward.

Why
not give us a hand?
The
local elections are a busy time, and we're always keen to hear from
people willing to lend a hand with delivering leaflets, canvassing
for votes, or spending some time with activities. Eamonn Ward is always
glad to hear from people willing to support, send
Eamonn an email or telephone him on (0114) 231 1548
To be able to vote you
must be on the electoral register and be 18 or over on or before
polling day. If you're a citizen of an EU member state registered
to vote in this country, you are entitled do so in these local elections.
The last date to register (or register at a new
address) in time to be able to vote on May Ist will be April 16th.
If you're on the register, and would find it
more convenient to vote by post, you can apply for a postal vote
up to April 16th.
Contact Electoral Services on (0114) 273
6910 if you're not sure whether you're registered, or if you want
a postal vote.
