Cllrs Jillian Creasy and Bernard Little will be attending the candlelit ceremony in the Winter Gardens at 5.30 on Thursday 25th January.

Cllr Creasy said: "Living in Sheffield in the 21st century it is possible to forget the atrocities which happened in Europe only 60 years ago. But human rights abuses continue today, some closer to home than we care to admit. Holocaust Memorial Day is a time to recommit ourselves to creating a peaceful world where everyone has basic rights such as education, work, healthcare and freedom of expression."
