Dear Sir
It's good to see U2 offering lowest price £30
tickets for their Don Valley concert in recognition of the current
financial situation. This compares favourably with Cliff Richard
& the Shadows (£55 & £60) and Beyonce (£49.50)
at the Arena later this year. In the last 2 years the Pussycat
Dolls have been to the Arena with support firstly from Rihanna
and then Lady Gaga a month ago. For both gigs you got two chart
topping acts but with ticket prices kept to £30 or below.
Still expensive for many but good value for money.
With the recession biting more artists need
to be telling their managers and agents to put the fans first.
Keep the ticket prices down.
Yours sincerely
Eamonn Ward
